This role is available on a mainly remote basis with occasional Shirebrook office presence when required

You will be joining our newly formed Technology Enablement team – a team who drive innovation and creativity across our wider IT function. Our mission is to build, define and deploy development best practices, and to be a central resource for adapting and rolling out best practice across the business.

We’re at the start of our journey with rolling out Microsoft Teams across our retail division, you’ll play a key role in helping us to achieve our ambition of integrating our business data within Teams by designing interactive and aesthetically pleasing Power BI solutions.

• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, design and build interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI
• Working with various business units to ingest/transform data from different data sources
• Building models to deliver value from our data
• Developing accurate measures that are performant on larger datasets
• Developing custom visualisations
• Work with Analytics to ensure consistency across solutions
• Driving technical decisions by staying up to date with the latest technology and industry trends

• 3+ years developing solutions with Power BI
• Keen to drive adoption of new technologies and techniques
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2012+ / T-SQL & Stored Procedures
• Power BI Workspace / Power BI Desktop
• Power BI Gateway
• Fluent in Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)
