We are looking for a recent grad with Engineering Concentration looking for practical work experience and desire to learn in order to support our Engineering team. Scheduled work hours will be 20-25 hours per week (M-F)

Under the supervision of the engineering manager, you will assist in conducting trials and designing fixtures. You will also support with documentation of manufacturing processes and work methods. May be assigned special projects. Ensures quality standards are met to support customer expectations.

Responsibilities include: Provides support to Engineering, Quality, Sales and Customer Service as needed. Supports Coating Manager creating and modifying programs for new and existing products. Helps develop new laser programs with lead engineer, sales, customers and material Work with molding room supervisor to ensure cycles are maximized with the best quality. Design of fixtures, degating, milling, taping, sawing, drilling, etc. Evaluate new materials. Issue reports on findings. Proper documentation of mold trials, color samples, and process sheets. Assist in troubleshooting molding, coating, and cast resin problems and issue corrective actions. Helps maintain Quality Control equipment, and designs/builds fixtures as needed. Follows safety rules and work environment guidelines.

Qualifications: • Bachelors in Engineering preferred. Experience supporting manufacturing engineers a plus • Strong written and oral skills. • Proficient in Solidworks and/or Auto-Cad. MS Office skills required. • Understanding of inventory controls and SPC (Statistical Process Control) • Must have a positive attitude, a satisfactory work history, maintain a good attendance record and work well with co-workers.
