We are seeking a friendly and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team in Grays, Thurrock, United Kingdom. As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our valued customers in the Esses and Kent areas.

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers' homes or businesses
• Plan and optimise delivery routes for maximum efficiency
• Load and unload packages with care, ensuring proper handling of all items
• Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures upon completion
• Work available Monday to Sunday
• Full time (working at least one day over the weekend)
• Load time - 20-25 minutes
• Maintain a clean and well-organised vehicle
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing queries and concerns professionally
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
• Up to 6 days max per 7 day working week
• Shell fuel card provided
• 11 days on road training provided with full pay

• Loading the delivery vehicle from a staging area
• Delivering to residential locations
• Delivering to commercial locations
• Driving responsibly to ensure Van is in good working condition
• Being able to get in and out of vans
• Ability to lift up to 23kg

• Valid UK or EU driving licence with max 6 points, No active IN, DR or TT codes
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service
• Minimum 2 years driving experience
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Proficiency in using GPS and route planning tools
• Good physical fitness, able to lift and carry packages of various sizes and weights
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred
• Experience in customer-facing roles is advantageous
• Means of commuting to and from work
• Good written and spoken English
• Delivery experience with Amazon, Ocado group, Tesco, Sainsbury's and Evri (preferred)

What we offer:

• £130 - £156 a day
• Up to 6 days max per 7 day working week
