Job Description
Pay Range: (Pay Range $77,969 - $82,285 per year, plus eligible for 5% target bonus.)

- Direct and supervise all Sanitation functions for the packaging area as well as 45-50 Sanitation employees.
- Train all sanitation employees in safety and complete annual required company training by Foster Farms (JSTA’s).
- Routinely inspect equipment for proper cleaning and work and Pre-op with USDA inspectors.
- Perform frequent on-the-job inspections such as safe working habits, safe work areas, quality of workmanship, and effectiveness of sanitation.
- Evaluate, prioritize and schedule sanitation functions to insure timely completion of plant clean-up.
- Prepare work schedules and employee duty assignments as required to meet plant sanitation requirements.
- Initiate purchase requisitions and recommend needed special tools.
- Weekly safety meetings with all personnel.
- Evaluate and discuss with Sanitation Superintendent all personnel’s work performance.
Qualifications
- B.S. or B.A. in business management or equivalent work experience.
- Expertise in mechanical poultry processing machinery.
- Minimum 2-5 years sanitation experience in poultry or related industrial areas.
- Good computer skills with demonstrated ability to create and analyze data.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing and must have strong interpersonal skills.
- Leadership skills and the ability to coach and develop employees
- Must be able to work with and handle chemicals and product safety.
- Must be able to multi-task and handle multi-projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to evaluate lead persons fairly and objectively.
- Must be able to make sound judgment and good decisions.
- Must be able to stand for prolong periods on a concrete and have ability to do heavy lifting.
- Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check.
