Job Description

Salary Range: $87,500 to $109,000 per year

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • To plan and direct the maintenance of the Delhi Feedmill.
  • Prepare, submit and administer a maintenance budget in excess of $1 MM.
  • Contribute to the profitability of the company by investigating and implementing new methods reducing cost relative to equipment, energy, and manpower.
  • Responsible for minimizing downtime of all facilities through an effective preventative maintenance program with the intent to optimize equipment reliability.
  • Coordinate with all affected departments for necessary maintenance projects.
  • Oversee matters pertaining to maintenance personnel (including but not limited to policies, procedures, hiring, safety awareness, training, etc.).
  • Insure compliance with all regulatory agencies including: San Joaquin valley air pollution control district, EPA and FDA.
  • Oversee and lead with troubleshooting of production problems on a timely basis until successful resolution, including major and minor maintenance of automated and non-automated equipment.
  • Monitor proper function of Mill automation system and replace hardware devices and electrical equipment as needed.
  • Oversee the maintenance parts room and keep proper parts inventory against maintenance needs.
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations and coordinate a response for facilities operating 24/7.
  • Ability to function as incident commander and environmental coordinator for entire facility.
  • Make strategic and sound decisions pertaining to industrial controls, department safety, and department efficiency for maintenance team. 
  • Monitor controls systems of the plant related to production processes, and overall plant facilities and develop plans to provide preventative modifications to maximize equipment uptime, product quality, safety, and cost control.
  • Build and manage an effective employee team by engaging, mentoring, and developing direct reports.

Qualifications

  • BS with an emphasis in facilities maintenance/engineering or related field preferred or relative work experience.
  • SAP data processing software experience preferred.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & outlook)
  • Must have a minimum of five years supervisory experience.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Must have strong technical abilities.
  • Must be self-motivated with hands-on experience in each area of operations.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Must have experience reading & understanding Allen Bradley ladder logic and P&ID loops.
  • Must have experience in PLC/SLC troubleshooting.
  • Must be collaborative, innovative, result-oriented and resilient.
