We have been given the mandate by our client who is specialised in Communications, Information technology and Infrastructure with a global presence to seek for an energetic and innovative individual to fill the role of a Field Operations Team Leader. 


This role is domiciled in Cote d’Ivoire.

Job Description

Field Operations carry out all non centralised activities, primarily Maintenance & Upgrades and includes functions: Telecom, e.g. Fixed & Mobile, and; non Telecom functions, e.g. Electro/Mechanical & Site:

• Leadership, Management & employee motivation of own area

• Responsible for a Field Operations are/cluster - in a very large organisation can be split to cover Telecom or Infrastructure separately

• Responsible for Field Operations escalations within area

• Responsible for Field Operations Reporting within area

• Responsible for performance levels to SLA/OLA applicable in own area

• Responsible for security of the Field Operations offices and premises in own area

• Responsible for physical acceptance of Network & Sites in own area

• Ensures processes/procedures are enforced in own area

• Responsible for escalated Field Operations matters in own area

• Support Field Operations Management regarding tool development

• Supports Outage Reporting and takes management of follow-up actions

• Liaises with Field Operations subcontractors & 3rd parties in own area

• Undertake special assignments to resolve Network Operations issues


Qualifications

• Must have a first degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or related field.

• Must have a minimum of 7 years operational experience in the telecommunication industry.

• Must be competent in handling the following;

- Field Operations Management

- Network Operations Management

- Performance Management

- Configuration management

- Security Management

- Project Management

- Communication

- Customer Focus
