Our client is a leading non-banking financial service provider with strong base across the country. They are currently looking to recruit the services of charismatic and astute individuals for the post of a Marketer with the sole purpose of selling the company's product and ensuring the overall goals of the firm are met.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Advise customers on the insurance policies that best suit their needs.
- The primary responsibility is selling insurance products to clients.
- Actively seek out new clients and explaining types of coverage they may find helpful.
- Stay abreast of the rates and policies for the different policies and how it applies to other insurance firms
- Fill-out and submit applications, issue quotes, maintain client records and prepare reports. In the event of a claim, agents help their customers file and receive financial compensation for their loss.
- Attending meetings and seminars on industry practices and standards is normally required.
- Maintaining a customer database
- Hitting sales targets
- Investigating customer’s needs and advising appropriate insurance
- Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including new and existing customers to drive sales
- Arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials to sales team
- Maintaining and updating customer databases;
- Contributing to, and developing marketing plans and strategies;
Qualifications
- BSc/HND in Insurance or other related field
- A minimum of 4 years' working experience with 2 years' in an Insurance firm
- Membership of CIIN would be an added advantage
