Job Description

We are looking for an experienced PIM Technical Lead with deep expertise in Salsify, Widen, and other Product Information Management (PIM) and Product Experience Management (PXM) platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design, configuration, integration, and enhancement of PIM/PXM solutions across the enterprise, ensuring accurate, complete, and consistent product data delivery across digital channels.

 

RESPONSIBLIITIES:

What you will be doing

  • Serve as the technical SME and hands-on lead for PIM platforms, primarily Salsify and Widen, supporting configuration, enhancements, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, digital marketing teams, and data governance teams to define PIM/PXM requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Design and implement data models, workflows, channel exports, and syndication strategies within Salsify, Widen, and similar platforms.
  • Integrate PIM systems with ERP, DAM, eCommerce, and syndication endpoints using APIs and ETL pipelines.
  • Drive the implementation of product taxonomy, attribution models, validation rules, and governance standards.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, identify performance gaps, and apply optimizations to improve scalability and reliability.
  • Support master data management strategies and ensure alignment between product data and customer-facing content.
  • Provide thought leadership on emerging PIM/PXM tools and best practices to improve product data operations.
  • Lead technical discussions with vendors and manage integration partners for platform enhancements and support.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting PIM solutions with at least 3+ years working with Salsify and/or Widen.
  • Strong experience in PIM/PXM configuration, taxonomy setup, channel exports, and API-based integrations.
  • Working knowledge of product data syndication to retailers, marketplaces, and digital commerce platforms.
  • Solid understanding of digital asset management (DAM) integration and content governance principles.
  • Proficiency with JSON, XML, and REST/SOAP APIs for integration with ERP (SAP, Oracle) and eCommerce systems.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with business, marketing, and IT teams to deliver high-quality product content experiences.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong SQL skills, with experience querying Oracle databases for operational and integration purposes
  • Experience with Unix/Linux environments, including shell scripting (KSH/SH) and command-line operations
  • Experience building or supporting automated jobs (Jenkins or similar) and file-based integration pipelines
  • Strong documentation, communication, and project coordination capabilities.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with other PIM/PXM tools such as Stibo, Informatica PIM, Riversand, Syndigo.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and product data quality strategies.

Additional Information

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $90,000 USD - $143,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
