Job Description

As the Channel Marketing Manager, you will drive business growth through strategic go-to-market initiatives. You will lead programs that enhance loyalty to Moen's brand and channel partners. Responsibilities include collaborating with Product Marketing, Sales, and Marketing Services to develop tailored solutions and marketing materials that support the growth and expansion of Moen's products and services. You will also build channel expertise, manage channel analysis, and develop customer plans to ensure alignment with business objectives.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business (MBA preferred) and at least 5 years of Sales/Marketing experience, preferably in Consumer/Durable Goods. They should have experience with Big Box Retail and online platforms, proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong financial and analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to travel up to 20%.

Location: This is a HYBRID position that will work three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) out of our Deerfield, IL HQ office location.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Moen's Product Marketing teams to identify and implement growth initiatives within our current product portfolio as well as expansion areas.
  • Understand P&L objectives and drivers to make sound go-to-market recommendations in order to drive top and bottom lines.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Marketing, Marketing Services and Brand Development in the areas of:
    • Growth initiatives
    • Program development and implementation
    • Research including competitive insights and recommendations
    • Presentations and training delivery on new and existing products
  • Build and maintain channel expertise through field travel, attendance at industry events, competitive analysis and close collaboration with Sales.
  • Partner with the business unit to develop customer channel plans directly tied to joint business planning  shared objectives.
  • Provide input to brand and merchandising messaging and ensure they align with the overall channel strategy and drive the best possible customer experience within specific accounts.
  • Manage a comprehensive ongoing channel situation analysis that monitors sales, margin and volume across key products and customers. Develop improvement action plans to address unexpected challenges.
  • Partner with Business Intelligence on the measurement and analysis of channel data relating to program/promotional effectiveness and make improvements based on insights.
  • Partner with Sales and business unit in the preparation and presentation of results in monthly/quarterly business reviews.
  • Partner with Marketing Services to ensure development of 2D, 3D and digital collateral to drive product launches, promotions, key marketing campaigns, programs within channel and customer-specific marketing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field is required; MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Sales and/or Marketing experience is required. Channel Leadership experience, as well as experience within the Consumer/Durable Goods industry is preferred.
  • Big Box Retail channel and online retail platforms experience required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, collaborate and build trust.
  • Demonstrated solid financial acumen, analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business and in front of customers.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

Additional Information

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $70,000 USD - $110,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
