Job Description
The Digital Product Content Manager is responsible for the development and execution of Fortune Brands Innovations’ (FBIN) ecommerce product content strategy and related processes. This role influences the overall content strategy to ensure alignment to product launch priorities and execution of commercialization deliverables within the ecommerce channel and our owned websites. The key focus is defining how to best leverage digital product content to build the brand and maximize conversion on key retailer websites (Amazon, HomeDepot.com, Lowes.com, Build.com, and Wayfair.com) and our owned websites. The Manager serves as the subject matter expert on content marketing management. This ideal candidate requires a collaborative mindset, strong process improvement skills, attention to detail, and broad eCommerce/digital acumen.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and develop a Digital Product Content team.
- Develop and execute holistic product content strategies that address the needs and priorities of the business and enable consistent messaging and standardization, as well as a customized approach for each channel.
- Create, deploy, and optimize best-in-class assets tailored to targeted channels of distribution including online and offline mediums. This includes creating consistency across Omnichannel executions, from in-store to online, with an emphasis on product copy, descriptions, bullet points, images, video, infographics, and technical documentation.
- Audit and improve existing processes across the enterprise for developing and deploying product content. Collaboratively identify and implement processes that yield cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing organization, including the product commercialization team, to develop a detailed monthly product content production/deployment calendar.
- Execute timely, accurate and comprehensive launches of product content for new products.
- Analyze and optimize the performance and impact of digital content investments with key retailer accounts to determine customer impact and ROI.
- Develop digital product content scorecards and analyze relevant data and trends in order to derive insights and recommend strategic opportunities to increase sales and share.
- Partner with internal and external IT teams to develop short- and long-term product content technology infrastructure. Leverage internal and external data sources to gather relevant industry benchmarks.
- Manage relevant outside digital vendors/partners from development through to execution and measurement.
- Work alongside FBIN’s in-house creative team to streamline and improve the process for generating content, both internally and with external agencies as needed.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience inclusive of a minimum of 5 years of Ecommerce experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a team. Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and develop associates, drive accountability at all levels, and steadfastly deliver results.
- Experience with content management and syndication platforms i.e. Salsify, Syndigo
- Demonstrated ability to decode complex information from multiple sources to create one shared vision and directive for execution.
- Ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and maintain positive relationships with all FBIN customers, subsidiaries, agents, and sales force.

Additional Information
Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $60,000 USD - $99,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
