Job Description

The MDM Technical Lead will spearhead Master Data Management (MDM) projects, providing technical leadership and designing robust solutions to ensure data accuracy, quality, and governance. This role requires deep expertise in Informatica MDM, data integration, and data modeling. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, is committed to best practices, and drives successful implementations.

RESPONSIBLIITIES:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of MDM solutions using Informatica MDM to ensure scalability and extensibility.
  • Develop and maintain data models for MDM hubs, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • Adhere to best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Configure Informatica MDM components, including Match and Merge rules, survivorship functionality, and data governance policies.
  • Lead defining high-level and low-level tasks for the technical team, ensuring clarity and feasibility.
  • Implement data quality processes to ensure master data accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with the project team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Document technical processes, workflows, and architectural standards for reference and training.
  • Ensure MDM solutions comply with data privacy regulations and security standards
  • Stay Updated with the latest MDM trends and data integration technologies and propose improvements to existing solutions.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize data loading, matching, and retrieval processes for efficient and seamless data operations.

Job Location: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield, IL. Effective mid-2025, Fortune Brands will transition to a new world-class campus in Deerfield, bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices, brands, and functions. The campus will offer vibrant workspaces for collaboration, along with amenities for dining, onsite daycare, fitness and recreation.

 

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience with Informatica MDM, including tools like CDI, CAI, and CLAIRE.
  • Strong understanding of MDM concepts, data integration, and data governance.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in data modeling, SQL, and ETL processes.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Informatica MDM certification
  • 3+ years delivering large and complex programs - where you collaborate with large cross-functional teams, secure commitments on deliverables and unblock teams to land business impact.
  • Lean Six Sigma/PMP Certification/Scrum Master or Agile certification.
  • 2+ years of direct responsibility for leading complex, business critical programs.
  • 1+ years of experience with Data Vault Methodology.

Additional Information:

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $105,000 USD - $165,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
