Associate Material Auditor - Las Vegas

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the auditing and quality functions.  Advise the operations management on inventory issues and recommend improvements
  • Conduct investigations and resolutions in relation to cycle counts.  Assist in conducting special audits as needed or as requested
  • Run inventory reports to clear all locations in audit status
  • Responsible for making proper inventory adjustments in EWM and SAP
  • Assist and support compiling end of month inventory/quality reports
  • Reconcile all unaccounted for inventory
  • Investigate customer reported and in house errors and report out to operations leadership. Compile data on errors made.
  • Participate with feedback, recommendations and root cause solutions to inventory adjustments.  Assist in execution when necessary
  • Assist with the investigation of damaged product, overages, mislabeled and wrong items at the PNP/E Zone area. 
  • Support with N Olmsted Quality Department and third party quality vendors in regards to quality issues/rework.  Process quality related issues, place product in proper quality hold status and prepare product for shipment back to manufacturing plants
  • Partner with receiving to utilize Cubiscan machine to maintain accurate DIMS and weight of our product within our SAP system
  • All other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED), one to two years related distribution/warehouse experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to deal with all levels of staff, and operations
  • High degree of credibility
  • Demonstrated success handling multiple priorities and multi-tasking
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office. 
  • Ability to use thinking and reasoning to problem solve
  • Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $43,700 USD - $52,624 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
