Job Description

In this ERP Analyst role, you will be following a SDLC methodology you will identify and document requirements, lead process design sessions and facilitate execution and implementation of solutions to address business requirements. This ERP Analyst will also serve as a liaison between the business users and the technical/development teams in establishing and streamlining system/business processes as well as facilitate cross-functional team collaboration as required.

This role is designated as a hybrid role which includes working 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in any of our key offices located in Maumee, OH, Brookings, SD, or North Olmsted, OH in order to foster better collaboration, connection, and innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with teams and application users to review, analyze, and prepare complex and detailed documents for business requirements and technical/functional specifications of business systems and user needs, including workflow, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify existing solutions. 
  • Provide application support service as part of a Service Desk function and in after-hours rotation
  • Supporting and monitoring batch jobs and reporting 
  • Provide technical support to drive automation and continuous improvement
  • Maintain department policy and procedures as directed by manager
  • Working knowledge of the company’s security, controls, backup, and business recovery capabilities
  • Perform monthly ERP security audits.
  • Perform gap analysis on current and future state business processes. Provide recommendations and drive resolution.
  • Foster strong communications between business users and application developers to understand key issues, identify perception gaps, and resolve questions.
  • Maintain technical knowledge and skills as it relates to the company’s technologies. 
  • Responsible for own work as directed. Seeking guidance from others as required.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of work experience in business analysis or an IT related position
  • Working knowledge and experience supporting ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics GP)
  • Ability to work effectively as a team and independently in a process-based environment
  • Equipped with strong SQL skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT/IS/related discipline from an accredited institution
  • A focus in Supply Chain Operations is strongly preferred
  • Oracle Supply Chain Cloud experience is a plus
  • ERP application transformation or migration project experience is a nice to have 
  • Ability to think logically, critically, and constructively about complex problems, clearly communicate findings of analysis, and recommend solutions that address expressed needs within the project
