Job Description

Advantage Solutions, an independent representative agency for MasterBrand Cabinets, has an immediate opening for a cabinetry Field Service Tech in the Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tucson, and surrounding areas. This position will provide delivery inspections, showroom support and warranty service for Thomasville Cabinetry sold at The Home Depot. Field Service Tech will inspect cabinet orders delivered to customers and order any replacements needed. Will update and manage store displays and in-store marketing materials. Additionally, the Service Tech will be responsible to inspect and order any warranty replacements as needed.

Job Duties

  • Ensure customers have a delightful service experience
  • Inspect all cabinets delivered to customers home and order replacements for any damaged product prior to installation
  • Ensure that all in-home deliveries include:
    • Complete inspection of all cabinets by customer or installer with virtual assistance via Facetime/Zoom as necessary
    • Setting of storage expectations
    • Ordering of necessary replacements
    • Email updates to the store after inspection completed noting applicable reorders
  • Cabinet door and drawer adjustments or swap outs where needed
  • Adjustments of internal cabinetry items – pullouts, roll trays, wastebaskets, etc.
  • Assist with updating and managing store displays and marketing materials
  • Assistance with warranty claim resolution
  • Other assigned duties

  • The ability to read tape measure and measure space for design/construction (walls, obstacles, plumbing, etc.)
  • Basic Carpentry Skills:
    • Replacement of cabinetry doors/drawer fronts
    • Adjustment of cabinetry doors/drawer fronts
  • Knowledge of all working area of a kitchen or bath project
  • Experience with semi-custom/modular cabinet installation
  • Works well independently and in a collaborative setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, OneDrive (or Cloud)
  • Proficiency using iPad/iPhone
  • Experience in kitchen and bath cabinets and/or custom millwork installation
  • Knowledge of 2020 design program – experience a plus!
