Job Description

Investigates, evaluates, and negotiates service contract claims to our contractual liability. Effects settlement within prescribed limits and submits recommendations to supervisor on cases exceeding personal settlement authority. The Claims Adjuster has several roles in the operational side of the business. To administer the claims according to the contractual obligation as set forth in the consumer agreement, while delivering professional service to both the dealer’s personnel and the agreement holder in the adjudication of claims. To raise awareness to management when a grey area issue is discovered that affects the customer and or dealer

  • Work as part of a team. TEAMPLAYER
  • Claims administration, including meeting the service level expectations
  • Claim Negotiation
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Handle Customer Service Questions or transfer call to appropriate numbers

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalency required
  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proficient with Internet Explorer
