Job Description

The Guest Services Coordinator is the initial contact with people who visit and call the ministry. He or she assists in maintaining a Christ-centered, hospitable, safe and secure work environment. In addition to providing a superior guest experience, the Guest Services Coordinator possesses detailed knowledge of ministry policies and procedures and performs essential functions as they relate to the accessibility and security of the staff, contractors, equipment, and grounds. This position requires excellent telephone and face-to-face communication skills, as well as the interpersonal skills to work independently with minimal direct supervision, think critically to resolve problems, and handle several competing priorities effectively and efficiently.

Specific responsibilities of the Guest Services Coordinator will include but are not limited to:

  • Greeting employees, contractors, and guests coming into the building through the front door
  • Preparing visitor badges
  • Monitoring access to the building and opening the front door, as needed
  • Answering and routing phone calls at the phone switchboard
  • Maintaining daily activity logs, records, and forms for third-party review
  • Monitoring all security cameras and taking action, as needed
  • Assisting in investigations and video/log reviews, as needed
  • Assisting in the daily responsibilities of the ministry, as needed
  • Responding to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner, according to LTW policies and procedures
  • Contacting EMS when necessary
  • Adhering to all standard operating procedures and company policies, including safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Must be in agreement with LTW's Church Membership and Statement of Faith
  • Work well with others in a friendly and encouraging teamwork atmosphere
  • Possess a drive to achieve personal and ministry success through personal performance excellence and a friendly servant mindset toward others
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Available to work in the office 29 hours per week: Mondays – Thursdays 12 PM – 5 PM and Fridays 8 AM – 5 PM
