The role of the Floor Technician is to supervise and manage team members in performing cleaning duties and tasks in designated buildings. Ensure that all areas are kept in a clean and hygienic condition. Clean and work well with clients. Adhere to safety procedures. Under the supervision of the Regional Operations Director. Good customer relationships are followed when interacting with clients and co-workers. Be sincere, build trust, be dependable, and be respectful. Show kindness and communicate openly. Listen to feedback from the client and co-workers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain carpet and hard surface floors, including: Stripping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing and sealing of hard surfaces.
• Extracting and spot cleaning carpeted surface.
• Duties also include assisting Building Manager/Lead with special projects including: Setups, breakdown, move in/ move out.
• Provide first-class service by adhering to quality and customer service standards.
• Promote a work environment conducive to cooperation and respect for co-workers and clients.
• Accept accountability interactions and communications with co-workers.
• Listen to constructive feedback with the intent to learn from it to enhance cooperation within the department.
• Engage in designated communication channels, including SWEPT.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external clients.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion.

• Reliability and the ability to work without direct supervision.
• Be a committed team player who can work cooperatively with others.
• Must be honest and hardworking.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with productivity standards and procedures. 
• May require an employee to bend, reach, and stand for extended periods of time.
