Please note! This position implies a primary assignment to the Technical Analysis team. Secondary placement will be discussed with the successful candidates.

You will support all of FF’s operations, both internally and externally. The Technical Analysis Team at Focus Finance is a brand-new vertical which has been developed specifically to give our members exclusive insights into equities from a technical aspect. As part of the technical analysis team, you will be responsible for creating weekly equity-specific technical reports after analysing candlestick charts. There are no restrictions in terms of the index or equity that the team covers. Resultantly, diversity in terms of suggestions will be encouraged. You will help Focus Finance drive international engagement and build the brand. And if you are committed, more challenging projects and positions are in for you.

Your key responsibilities

• Create weekly equity-specific technical reports after analysing candlestick charts.

• Be active within your branch and communicate with your partner and fellow analysts

• Help Focus Finance drive global engagement and strengthen its brand and digital presence

We carefully recruit all our members to ensure consistency across our branches. We are looking at a number of skills and interests throughout the recruitment process:

• Undergraduate student specializing in finance, management, economics, engineering, computer science or similar (we welcome applications from all universities across the globe)

• Previous experience in technical analysis or basic knowledge in the analysis mechanism. 

• Basic knowledge in understanding candlestick charts. 

• Good written and communication skills. 

• A “can do” attitude. 

• Willingness to learn and share learnings with the group. 

• Core soft skills – teamwork, adaptability, resilience, international mindset
