Job Description

The Opportunity

As Flywire continues to scale globally, we are strengthening and evolving our compliance framework to support secure, compliant, and frictionless payments worldwide 🌍.
We are seeking a detail-driven Compliance Analyst to join our Compliance Operations team in Vilnius, supporting key activities such as KYC, transaction monitoring, sanction screening, and ongoing risk oversight.
This role plays a critical part in protecting our platform, our clients, and our regulatory obligations, while contributing to the continuous improvement of our compliance controls ✅.

What You’ll Do

  • Support all compliance activities for onboarding new clients, including gathering information from public sources, conducting adverse media checks, and reviewing client websites to understand their business and associated risks.
  • Own the periodic refresh of client KYC 📄.
  • Assist with transaction monitoring and investigations, identifying unusual activity and reviewing potentially fraudulent transactions using partner platforms, online research, and payer communications.
  • Support sanction screening, reviewing user matches against international watchlists 🚨.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure compliance issues are managed efficiently and accurately.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in compliance-related operations.
  • Solid understanding of KYC principles and red flags, across simple and complex business structures (Travel and B2B experience is a plus).
  • Fluency in English; additional languages welcome 🌐.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with clear communication and global collaboration capabilities.
  • High attention to detail, able to work independently in a fast-paced, flexible environment.
  • Comfortable escalating challenges when appropriate and managing shifting priorities.
