Job Description

The Opportunity:

Flywire is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Technical Implementation Manager to join our dynamic and growing team. The Technical Implementation Manager will engage with a larger Flywire project team and the client to implement real time integrations, as well as build out the test and production environments, jobs, and files specs. If you have experience in student financial services, front and backend configuration of complex systems, SaaS based integrations, and want to launch your career in the exciting world of Fintech this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

The main objective of the Technical Implementation Manager role is to understand the technical architecture of our ecommerce platform, configure and test client environments, and set up file specifications and corresponding jobs. 

  • Using your technical expertise, partner with the implementation team on all aspects of building out our product solutions for higher education 
  • Using your technical knowledge, system tools and processes, ensure client integrations, system performance, quality, and responsiveness of our applications meets Flywire standards
  • Schedule and conduct client technical meetings with school IT teams to share product knowledge, configure system preferences, and ensure integrated solutions meet client needs 
  • In partnership with product management and engineering, produce, maintain, and disseminate technical product documentation for both internal and external partners
  • Contribute to the product vision by collaborating with the customers, Product Manager, and stakeholders
  • Help contribute to an ever improving culture and customer experience every day

Qualifications

Here’s What We’re Look For:

  • 4+ years experience in technical software and middleware Implementations (required)
  • Experience in Single Sign On integration, with specific knowledge with CAS and SAML
  • Experience in configuring, implementing, and integrating software or middleware in a customer facing role (required)
  • Experience in technical and functional documentation creation and upkeep 
  • Knowledge of Higher Education ERPs- PeopleSoft, Banner, Colleague, and Workday (Preferred)
  • Quality Assurance experience and training 
  • Experience in fintech or the payment industry is desired
  • Strong preference for candidates located near our geo-clusters and hubs in the following cities: Boston, New York City, Miami, Chicago, Austin, Dallas, Denver, Kansas City, Atlanta, Orlando and Philadelphia

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $91,000-$110,000 plus restricted stock units and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, position level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and several other factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education and training. Your Talent Acquisition Partner can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
