Job Description

HR Transformation and Digitalisation Manager is responsible for using their knowledge of software programs, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and business strategies to enable the People Team’s operations using technology to increase the team’s efficiency, productivity, and cross-functional collaboration as well as optimizing the user experience. Their duties include talking with the People Leadership Team (PLT) and various business stakeholders to determine their requirements while coordinating with IT professionals to create, implement, and update software based on requirements. This role will also deliver user training to the global People Team as well as FlyMates regarding how to use the software/tools effectively on a daily basis. 

 

Additionally, this individual will be a key team member dedicated to solving business-related challenges within the People team through the ongoing development and management of the systems and platforms put in place. Along with that, they will be expected to support and lead projects related to the improvement and implementation of any potential new HR technologies, reports, and tools.

  • Own the end-to-end process including, technology sourcing, selection, proof of concept, and delivery of People Team systems, tools, process improvements, system enhancements, and new applications to support People Team operations and Flywire’s business strategies 

  • Providing support with research and troubleshooting of HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws, the performance of scheduled activities, and recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements

  • Providing project leadership support in implementing new processes and workflows across all HR systems including requirements gathering, researching and resolving problems, participating in testing activities, and recommending and delivering solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements

  • Creation and maintenance of People Team Reporting and dashboards by utilizing the necessary reporting/business intelligence (BI) tools to meet the business requirements and ensuring reporting consistency and standardization across the organization

  • Serving as key functional point-of-contact for People system vendor(s). This includes managing and monitoring service providers and vendors to ensure that systems are scalable, efficient and that they enable the People team to meet business requirements

  • Collaborating with vendors to understand and apply (where applicable) next-in-class People systems, features, add-ons, integrations, and related practices

  • Partnering with People Team and cross-functional stakeholders to understand processes, pain points, and opportunities for systems optimization or technology enhancements

  • Owning and maintaining SOPs for HRIS transactions, workforce structure, workflows, roles and access, and analytics. Additionally, owning and maintaining implementation documentation to streamline quarterly releases, troubleshooting data issues, and tracking modifications

  • Setting efficient strategies and running periodic audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy 

  • Proactively identifying process improvements and ensuring that system controls and processes meet internal and external data and compliance requirements

Qualifications

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field
  • Previous experience working supporting HRIS systems such as BambooHR, WorkDay, Smart Recruiters, and ADP (Human Resources Information System) is preferred, but not required
  • Minimum 5 years of global HRIS administration and maintenance experience 
  • Working knowledge of integrated HR Information Systems is a plus
  • Ability to interface with all levels of employees, providing a high level of customer service in every aspect
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain data integrity
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, consulting, and communication skills
  • Project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects, organize and analyze data, and develop appropriate recommendations
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously and adapt while managing competing priorities to produce quality deliverables and meet tight deadlines
  • Adherence to strict confidentiality requirements and protection of sensitive HR data
