The Opportunity:

We, at Flywire, are seeking a Product Manager - Payer to be the Payer’s advocate across our ecosystem. Being a B2B2C company, the role demands an understanding of both client and end user’s needs, an innovative problem solving approach, and a bias towards exceptional user experience. The Product Manager - Payer will understand the different personas making up our user base, across the globe, across verticals, and be the Payer’s advocate in enhancing our solutions to be Payer oriented, providing payer value both in user experience, capabilities that alleviate payer needs and more. Collaboration, relationship-building, and communication are key aspects to being successful in this role.

Product Managers at Flywire like to win. You’ll be part of the team who is focused on identifying what a winning product looks like and how it will succeed in the market. In order to accomplish this, you will own the Comprehensive Receivables Solution product and be responsible for its roadmap, solutions, management of a cross functional team and more.. What does this look like? You must …

• Translate current and prospective payer pain points into solutions that answer these pains.

• Understand in depth the different nuances of payers cross our solutions, globally.

• Collaborate with different departments and other product managers to come up with innovative solutions and enhancements to current product offerings

• Help create and lead the Payer value strategy across the company, with the goal of extreme payer satisfaction

Here’s What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of product management experience in a role that directly touches end users

• Passion for exceptional user experience is a must

• Experience in higher education or related field with product / project management experience is a big plus

• Ability to compile and communicate key insights to offer recommendations and solutions

• A drive to think strategically, prioritize ruthlessly, and execute methodically with a data-driven approach to decision making

• A team player

• Obsessed with solving end user problems 

• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in a fast pace environment

• Humble - You do what’s best for the company, no politics, no ego

Our Hiring Process:

We are excited to get to know you! Throughout our process you can expect 4-5 rounds of interviews with different FlyMates including the Hiring Manager, Peers on the team, the VP of the department, and a homework assignment (it is not that bad!). Your TA Partner will walk you through the steps and be your “go-to” person for any questions.
