Job Description

The Opportunity: 

We are seeking a Director of Product to join Flywire's Product leadership team, manage and mentor product managers, and own one or more market solutions. Being a B2B2C company, the role demands an understanding of both client and end user’s needs, an innovative problem solving approach, and a bias towards exceptional user experience. 

Product Managers at Flywire like to win. You’ll be part of the team who is focused on identifying what a winning product looks like and how it will succeed in the market. In order to accomplish this, you will own a product and be responsible for its roadmap, solutions, management of a cross functional team and more.. What does this look like? You must …

  • Own and manage market solutions

  • Translate your vision into a clear roadmap and be your products’ champion to make sure your client needs are met.

  • Attend client meetings, understand their pain and represent them within the company. 

  • Collaborate with other product managers, engineers, designers, sales and other stakeholders to come up with innovative solutions.

  • Make decisions in a fast pace environment and under some uncertainty

  • Manage and mentor a team of Product Managers

Qualifications

Here’s What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of product management experience in a SaaS software company

  • Experience in a B2B2C Fintech company a big plus.

  • Hands on experience in Agile methodologies 

  • 2+ years managing product managers/owners

  • An excellent communicator 

  • A strategic thinker who can dive into the details and is focused on execution 

  • A Team player and leader 

  • Obsessed with solving market problems 

  • Entrepreneurial  spirit and ability to work in a fast pace environment

  • A mentor and role model - who builds depth in product talent by coaching and mentoring

  • Humble - You do what’s best for the company, no politics, no ego
