Flyte Solutions Ltd. is looking for an experienced and highly analytical Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with strong banking domain knowledge and proven expertise in requirements engineering, business process analysis, system documentation, and software solution design.

The selected candidate will be responsible for analyzing existing manual business processes, gathering and validating requirements, facilitating stakeholder discussions, and translating business needs into comprehensive functional and technical documentation for software development.

Candidates must have practical experience preparing BRS, BRD, FSD, DFD, SRS, and system prototypes for enterprise software projects.

Key Responsibilities

Business Requirements Analysis

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process reviews.
• Assess existing manual business processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
• Review, refine, and enhance Business Requirements Specifications (BRS).
• Facilitate Document Review Group (DRG) sessions to validate and finalize requirements.

Functional Analysis & Documentation

• Prepare comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRD).
• Develop Functional Specification Documents (FSD), Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), and supporting process models.
• Coordinate stakeholder reviews and obtain formal approval and sign-off on required documentation.
• Ensure business requirements are complete, consistent, traceable, and aligned with organizational objectives.

System Requirements & Prototyping

• Prepare detailed Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) following approval of business and functional documentation.
• Develop system prototypes, wireframes, workflows, and functional screen specifications.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Conduct structured SRS and prototype handover sessions with the software development team.

Project Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with business stakeholders, software developers, QA engineers, and project managers.
• Clarify requirements and resolve functional queries throughout the development lifecycle.
• Support requirement traceability, change management, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Prepare analytical reports, project documentation, and management presentations.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and large-scale enterprise software projects.
• Perform other relevant responsibilities as defined in the project agreement. 

Required Skills & Competencies

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
• Strong understanding of banking operations, financial services, and enterprise banking applications.
• Demonstrated expertise in requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and management.
• Proven experience preparing BRS, BRD, DRG, FSD, DFD, SRS, and system prototypes.
• Strong practical knowledge of business process modelling, system design, and data modelling.
• Experience with requirements management and prototyping tools.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong written communication, technical documentation, and presentation capabilities.
• Experience contributing to large-scale software development or digital transformation projects.

Preferred Tools & Technologies

• Requirements Management: Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps
• Process & System Modelling: Microsoft Visio, Draw.io, Lucidchart, UML, BPMN
• Prototyping: Figma, Balsamiq, Axure RP
• Data Modelling: ERD, DFD, SQL fundamentals
• Documentation: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a relevant discipline.

• Payment systems and financial transaction processing.
• Enterprise application integration.
• Requirements traceability, change management, and UAT coordination.
