Flyte Solutions Ltd. is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Infrastructure & Cloud Operations to lead enterprise infrastructure, cloud operations, platform reliability and technology transformation initiatives.

This is a senior leadership role for a technology professional who can combine strategic planning, technical expertise and operational leadership to build secure, scalable, resilient and cost-efficient infrastructure environments.

Job Description

Infrastructure & Cloud Strategy

  • Define and execute the organization’s IT infrastructure and cloud strategy.
  • Lead infrastructure modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
  • Oversee data center, network, compute, storage, virtualization and cloud environments.
  • Develop technology roadmaps aligned with business and technology objectives.
  • Establish scalable, standardized and highly available infrastructure architectures.

Cloud Operations & Engineering

  • Lead enterprise cloud operations across AWS, Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud.
  • Drive cloud adoption, migration, optimization and operational maturity.
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and infrastructure automation.
  • Establish modern DevOps, SRE and platform engineering practices.
  • Improve cloud reliability, scalability, performance and operational efficiency.

Infrastructure Reliability & Operations

  • Ensure high availability, performance and reliability of critical infrastructure services.
  • Establish and monitor Service Level Objectives (SLOs), SLAs and operational KPIs.
  • Lead major incident management, problem management and root-cause analysis.
  • Develop proactive monitoring, observability and capacity-management practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement across infrastructure and IT operations.

Security, Resilience & Business Continuity

  • Work closely with cybersecurity teams to strengthen infrastructure security and cyber resilience.
  • Lead Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) initiatives.
  • Establish backup, recovery and infrastructure resilience strategies.
  • Ensure infrastructure operations comply with organizational security, risk, audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate access-control, vulnerability-management and security practices.

Automation & Intelligent Operations

  • Identify opportunities to automate infrastructure and operational processes.
  • Implement AIOps and intelligent monitoring where appropriate.
  • Use automation and observability to reduce manual intervention and improve service reliability.
  • Promote engineering practices that improve operational efficiency and reduce infrastructure complexity.

FinOps & Cost Optimization

  • Lead cloud and infrastructure financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Establish FinOps and cloud cost-optimization practices.
  • Monitor infrastructure utilization and identify opportunities for cost efficiency.
  • Balance performance, reliability, security and cost when making infrastructure decisions.

Vendor & Service Management

  • Manage strategic infrastructure, cloud and technology service providers.
  • Define and monitor vendor SLAs, KPIs and service quality.
  • Support contract negotiations, technology procurement and vendor evaluation.
  • Ensure third-party providers meet agreed technical, security and operational requirements.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and develop a high-performing infrastructure and cloud operations team.
  • Establish clear responsibilities, objectives and performance measures.
  • Mentor engineers and develop technical leadership capabilities.
  • Promote a culture of ownership, engineering excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Support recruitment and development of infrastructure and cloud engineering talent.

Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with senior management, engineering, cybersecurity, application development and business teams.
  • Translate business requirements into practical infrastructure and cloud solutions.
  • Communicate infrastructure strategy, risks, investment requirements and operational performance to senior stakeholders.
  • Coordinate effectively with distributed, offshore and external technology teams.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Relevant professional certifications in cloud, infrastructure, IT service management or cybersecurity will be an advantage.

Required Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud and technology operations, including significant leadership responsibility.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise-scale infrastructure and cloud environments.
  • Strong experience in cloud transformation, infrastructure modernization and technology operations.
  • Solid understanding of networking, servers, storage, virtualization, backup and disaster recovery.
  • Practical experience with AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure-as-Code and automation.
  • Experience with monitoring, observability, incident management and IT service management.
  • Experience implementing DR/BCP and infrastructure resilience.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity, technology risk, audit and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
  • Proven experience managing technology vendors, budgets and service providers.
  • Strong people leadership and stakeholder-management experience.
