In your role as a Full Stack Engineer (m/f/d), you will primarily focus on front-end development and get the chance to be a key player. You will be working in cross-functional teams where you will build the frontend and backend of our groundbreaking QuickCommerce platform, which includes various core services, API clients, web and mobile apps. Our tech stack is based on React, Node, TypeScript, Vue, Nuxt and Tailwind.
Job Description
- Help the team with building services and feature development across Flink’s web and mobile app ecosystem targeting international users across Flink’s shops, warehouses and delivery workforce;
- Taking part in the discussion and planning of our platform development and microservices architecture;
- Closely collaborate with other teams to deliver value to the end-user;
- Drive and own the application lifecycle from inception all the way through to production, supporting business-critical applications and services;
- Be proactive towards adapting and experimenting with new technologies;
- Contribute to scaling up the web team and bringing great talents onboard by conducting interviews and code pairing sessions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Frontend Engineer with a focus on building React applications from scratch;
- Comfortable with ReactJS, TypeScript and JavaScript;
- Experience building scalable and reliable medium to large-scale applications and API centric platforms;
- Understanding of RESTful principles and API design for building and consuming web services;
- Good understanding of front-end tools and workflows;
- Rigour in high code quality, unit testing, integration testing and E2E testing;
- Working with modern web development workflows (GitHub, transpilers, linters, build and CI/CD tools, etc.);
- Open-minded personality, comfortable working both in a Lean and Agile environment and making decisions in a collaborative way with the team.
Nice-to-have
- Experience with our broader tech stack : Node.js, Next.js, Docker, Kubernetes and GCP,
- Experience with microservices architectures and GraphQL.
- Understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases is a bonus.
