Our future Commercial Process & Performance Intern (m/f/d) will support shaping the commercial organization. Together with the Commercial Performance team, you will mainly focus on automating & optimizing cross-departmental processes. In addition, you will contribute to various strategic projects with true bottom-line impact - from deducting actionable insights from internal & competitive intelligence and developing profit-enhancing initiatives. You will be an integral member of the Commercial Performance Team in one of the fastest-growing startups in Europe.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze existing business processes, identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies and areas for improvement and work towards streamlining these processes;
• Assist in the execution of existing commercial and retail media processes and operations, including campaign creation and generating reports;
• Work closely with senior team members across departments to design, develop, and implement automation solutions using relevant workflow automation tools;
• Develop further strategic initiatives like increasing basket size, improving gross margin, minimizing waste, increasing customer retention, and the Flink Retail Media Business;
• Ensure visibility on commercial targets and performance KPIs across all countries Flink is active in.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
• Earlier experience with process automation concepts and tools is a plus;
• Understanding of development life cycles, scripting, and systems programming could be helpful;
• Quick comprehension, hands-on mentality, and strong willingness to learn;
• Understanding of SQL and Javascript and at least a basic understanding of Excel/Gsheets is required;
• Ideally some experience with BI Tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and Python/R (Statistics, hypothesis testing, data visualization), but not required
• Earlier experience with Airtable could be helpful;
• Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Technology and Computer Science, or equivalent experience;
• Excellent English language skills.
