We are seeking a talented Senior Product Designer (m/f/d) to join us. As a member of our Product Design team, you'll work cross-functionally to create seamless experiences for our customers. Our ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable facilitating user research studies and team workshops, and has experience working with design systems.
As part of a cross-functional team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our Consumer App/Web provides our customers with a convenient, predictable, and frictionless ordering and delivery experience. You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, and analysts to manage the basket and checkout journey, and ensure that the entire process is smooth and efficient.
We're looking for a detail-oriented product designer who enjoys tackling complex systems and iterative design. You'll work collaboratively with your cross-functional product development team throughout the design process, fostering shared ownership and sharing stories from insight to impact.
Job Description
Discovery phase
- Facilitate cross-discipline brainstorms to identify assumptions and learning opportunities
- Conduct user research and collaborate with product and data analytics experts to gain insight into user behaviours, attitudes, and challenges
- Evaluate opportunities based on their impact on the team's KPIs
- Definition phase
- Partner with product leaders to prioritise high-impact product opportunities and outline problems to be solved
- Work with developers to define possible iteration
Ideation phase
- Facilitate solution ideation and turn ideas into testable solutions, interactive prototypes and other visual design deliverables to communicate design concepts and ideas
- Outline hypotheses and learning opportunities to guide user testing plans
- Synthesise observations and user feedback and iterate
Solution phase
- Design the end-to-end solution across platforms, including edge cases, meaningful user feedback and accessibility, using our design libraries to champion consistency and creativity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and other designers, to ensure the visual design is consistent with the overall product vision
- Share solution design with your cross-discipline team, exploring risks, dependencies, effort, and welcoming feedback
Delivery phase
- Partner with product leaders to outline scope, roll-out plan, data experiments, and tracking points inline with your solution hypotheses
- Work closely with the product team to create and design visually engaging user interfaces that meet the needs of our users
- Collaborate with engineers, data analysts, and other product designer specialists to deliver creative, innovative, and successful solutions to market
- Validate solutions at an early stage (e.g. MVPs, small tests, AB testing)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working as a UX/Product Designer for a consumer-facing product
- A portfolio showcasing your product design process and outcomes
- Strong communication skills and ability to nurture collaborative relationships
- Excitement to own design solutions from discovery to impact
- A passion for storytelling to inspire valuable and impactful product changes
- Experience planning and participating in user research and facilitating collaborative sessions.
