You are the main figure in steering our business financially. Using the insights we gain from our accounting team and the planning numbers from our F&A team, you initiate and refine the controlling process, design initiatives together with department heads and follow up on these initiatives. Reporting directly into the managing director NL, you are responsible for managing the financial performance of our business, making sure we hit our financial targets.

Control and reporting:

• Improvement of monthly reporting & controlling process;
• Implementation and optimization of internal controls;
• Be the bridge between global finance leadership and NL department heads;
• Challenge & optimize global financial planning for the Netherlands;
• Analyze actuals compared to budgets and monitor deviations;
• Define initiatives together with department leads and track progress; Thereby act as sparring partner for business departments to help them improve their department financials by leveraging your insights;
• Drive financial planning, reporting accuracy and profitability improvements closely aligned with global HQ counterparts.

• You have a degree in business, ideally with a focus on finance;
• You have at least 3-5 years experience in finance, preferably (investment) banking or consulting experience; retail experience is a plus;
• You are a quick, analytical thinker with a strong problem-solving mindset;
• You are meticulous, autonomous, organized, proactive and you have a desire to support the development of the financial function;
• Knowledge of Dutch GAAP or IFRS is a plus;
• Proficiency in English, Dutch is a plus.
