Job Description

As a Regional Manager you are responsible for;

  • The overall performance  of more than 30 hubs (fast growing!);
  • Leading your team of City managers (directly) and Hub Teams (indirect) to ensure the Region runs in the most efficient way by implementing the strategic staffing, operational and commercial activities;
  • Delivering excellent customer experience in all our sites within your region;
  • Actively driving KPI’s through regular commercial report usage and walkthroughs at Hub level with the Teams;
  • Challenging your City managers to hire and manage the best site supervisors, pickers and riders for all sites within the Region. This includes staffing, training, supervision, coordination and motivation of the multidisciplinary team;
  • Offering our customers a great service at any time - this includes demand forecasting, staffing your teams accordingly and ensuring processes are set up and implemented in the best possible way;
  • Coordinate with headquarter teams to set up e.g. local marketing campaigns, improve warehousing and staffing processes

Qualifications

  • Natural leadership style and experience in coaching & developing teams;
  • Live and breath customer centricity - all your action is centered around providing the best experience to customers in your Region;
  • Analytical skills with the ability to work with a broad set of KPIs and the ability to identify opportunities to improve performance and efficiency.;
  • An academic degree (university or similar) and 2-4 years of work experience in an operations-heavy role, ideally in the retail or hospitality industry;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.;
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments;
  • Team player at heart and you like to roll up your sleeves and jump in to support your team whenever needed
