In your role as Senior Data Engineer (m/f/d) you will get the chance to work closely with other Data professionals and other business stakeholders to have a direct impact on Flink’s success. In this role you will be exposed to fast-paced environments in the field of quick commerce and work with a passionate and collaborative team.

• Work closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, Product and Engineers to build up our internal data platform
• Our cloud-based data platform will serve all analytical use cases of the company and will also be used to operationalise ML models.
• Improve the resilience of our platform through your contributions on observability, automations, reliability.

• 4+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role
• Strong Python skills, especially in the context of building data integrations with REST APIs, (non)relational databases etc.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for building data pipelines and orchestration
• Hands-on experience with running infrastructure as code (IaC) such as Terraform
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (k8s)
• Nice to have: experience with modern data engineering frameworks (dbt, great expectations)
• Passionate problem solver, ability to think independently and proactively to find solutions
• Very good communication skills in English (spoken & written); German is a plus
