In your role as Head of IT (m/f/d) you will lead a team of IT support specialists supporting all internal users within a rapidly growing, fast-paced environment. We are at an early stage and this is a unique opportunity to build up the IT function from scratch at Flink.

As a Head of IT (m/f/d) you will have the key responsibilities of:

• Build and lead the team that is responsible for all of the day-to-day IT operations of Flink. You hire and retain top talent, coach, guide, and help the team become better every day both as individuals and as a team. 

• You build and manage the Level 1 Helpdesk that supports our headquarter staff and all hub and operations personnel which is at the core of our business.

• You will be responsible for the implementation of and management of our third-party tools and platforms. This includes managing the budget for IT services, hardware, and software. You define and implement a supplier strategy and optimize the inventory management for our fast-growing and ever-expanding team.

• You implement rollout, maintenance, and disposal tools and processes for a wide range of devices from Macs and iPhones through to PCs and Android devices as well as software licenses.

• You orchestrate and automate the IT on- and offboarding for Flink’s new joiners.

• You ensure that our IT landscape across all hubs, devices, and locations is secure with the appropriate levels of security. 

• You work with stakeholders across other technical teams to oversee and drive the implementation of security policies to fulfill data privacy regulations and ensure Flink’s technical landscape is secure.

• You are data-driven and measure the quality and availability of IT Services and establish KPIs and SLOs for the provided IT Services.

• You help our workforce to work remotely in times of COVID-19.

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar.

• 5+ years working within IT operations spanning IT help desk, network, and security. 

• Experience in managing an IT operations team, including all line management responsibilities.

• You will have managed third-party IT relationships, being responsible for selecting vendors, managing contracts, and being the main point of contact.

• You will have experience working with enterprise and workplace software like GSuit.

• Finally, you will have knowledge of a wider network and security environment and how to implement this in a fast-growing and distributed environment.
