As a Fixter Service Advisor, you'll be the driving force behind exceptional customer experiences. Using your automotive knowledge and top-notch communication skills, you'll guide customers through their car repair or service journey – all from the comfort of your own home (with the perk of occasional trips to our London office).

 

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Service Advisor in the Dealer network
  • Manufacturer Accreditation would be an advantage but not essential

What you'll be doing:

  • Be the friendly voice of Fixter: Respond promptly to customer enquiries via phone, email, and live chat, building rapport and trust from the first interaction.
  • The master scheduler: Manage online booking systems, schedule appointments, and ensure a smooth and efficient service for every customer.
  • Automotive expert: Accurately capture customer needs, diagnose issues (with the support of our digital diagnostic tools), and advise on the best course of action.
  • Communication is key: Liaise with our network of trusted garages, providing updates and progress reports to customers, ensuring they're always in the loop.
  • Transparent and clear: Prepare electronic invoices, explain costs to customers, and handle any queries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Record keeping pro: Maintain accurate records and documentation within Fixter's systems.
  • Customer champion: Proactively contact customers with service reminders and follow-up to ensure complete satisfaction.
  • Upselling expert: Discuss additional work required with customers, explaining the features and benefits clearly and confidently.
  • Team player: Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the Fixter service.

What you'll need:

  • Experience: Proven track record as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry.
  • Communication superstar: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport remotely.
  • Customer-centric: Strong customer service focus and a genuine commitment to exceeding expectations.
  • Organised and efficient: Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • Tech-savvy: Proficient in using digital communication tools and platforms (e.g., email, live chat, video conferencing).
  • Automotive enthusiast: Solid knowledge of automotive systems and terminology.
  • DMS whizz: Experience with dealer management systems (DMS) is highly desirable.
  • Valid licence: Full UK driving licence.
