We are looking for an outstanding individual who combines superb technical, programming and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively.  You will join a cross functional team focused on designing and implementing significant changes to the current platform. Your primary focus will be on our finance and reporting system, although there may be opportunity to work in other areas as well. Help us continue our fast growth and build a platform that successfully launches our business into the future.

The expert we are looking for:

• Loves challenging and interesting projects.

• Gets things done quickly.

• Expert in object-oriented PHP.

• Is passionate about clean, bug-free and easily maintainable code.

• Confident in complex SQL.

• Has outstanding debugging skills and analytical capabilities.

• Able to work in self-directed capacity with loose guidance.

• Will suggest and spec innovative ideas for implementation.

• Can analyse stakeholder requirements and communicate solutions effectively.

Exposure to any of the following would be an advantage (not essential):

• Experience as a solutions architect with AWS

• DBA experience with MySQL

• Development of finance related systems

Qualifications:

• Must have 4+ years experience in a PHP environment.

• Experience writing and optimising complex (My)SQL queries: joins, group by, having, subqueries.

• Experience with a modern web framework.

• Git, Mongodb, linux knowledge helpful
