Job Description
About the role
We're on the hunt for a proactive Applications Analyst who can bring their good energy to our Applications team. Reporting to the Applications Lead you will deliver value to the business by supporting, monitoring and maintaining software infrastructures and applications.
This role is responsible for maintaining and developing the on-going reliability, performance, management and support of applications and platforms. The Applications Analyst is also responsible for mentoring and training of other members of the team, application administration, and providing subject matter expertise to project delivery. They will also identity and implement system enhancements and be involved in the design and development of future system requirements.
Our Applications team are based in Wellington and Bell Block, this role can work from either of these locations.
Qualifications
Do you have?
Along with your exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, you'll have:
- 3+ years’ experience in IT role performing user support, training, and supporting the installation, development and maintenance of application software
- Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies
- Experience of process mapping and procedure documentation and controls
- Knowledge of troubleshooting computer (hardware and software) and/or communications faults
- Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and administration tools, and MS Office applications
- An awareness of a range of IT related technologies and their practical applications in support business requirements
