We're looking for an Asset Information Specialist to join our Asset Information team in Bell Block and help ensure our asset data, maintenance information and work management systems are accurate, reliable and fit for purpose. This role plays an important part in supporting safe operations, effective planning and informed decision-making across our business.
Reporting to the Asset Information Lead, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving asset information within Maximo and supporting the day-to-day operation of our asset management information system processes. You'll work with teams across Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Planning and Technology to ensure information is captured, maintained and used effectively.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with systems, data and people, and who takes pride in ensuring information is accurate, well-managed and adds value.
In the interesting and varied role you can expect
- Create, update and maintain asset, location, maintenance and work management records within Maximo.
- Support users with system, process and data-related queries.
- Build and maintain preventive maintenance plans, job plans and inspections.
- Complete quality assurance checks and investigate data issues to improve data quality and accuracy.
- Support reporting, maintenance forecasting and operational performance activities.
- Maintain technical records, asset information and supporting documentation.
- Contribute to process improvements, system enhancements and user adoption activities.
- Help ensure our asset information supports safe, reliable and compliant operations.
Qualifications

You enjoy working with data and systems, have a natural eye for detail and are motivated by providing great service to internal customers.
You may currently work in asset management, maintenance planning, operations support, information management, data administration, utilities, infrastructure, engineering support or a related field.
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Experience in asset information, maintenance planning, data management or a similar operational support role.
- Practical experience using a CMMS, EAMS or similar platform, ideally Maximo.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data quality.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence building relationships and supporting a wide range of stakeholders.
- Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
It would be beneficial if you also have:
- Experience within energy, utilities or infrastructure environments.
- Knowledge of ISO 55001, ISO 55013, maintenance management or asset information governance.
- Experience working with GIS, reporting tools, technical records or data quality programmes.
