Job Description

About the role

The Project Scheduler is responsible for scheduling a large portfolio of projects and monitoring their execution.  The focus is to work with Project Managers to develop a programme that optimises resource use, and helps us achieve Firstgas strategic targets by "getting it done".

You’ll be joining an experienced, supportive and fun team in our Bell Block office, responsible for:

  • Development of project schedules and templates 
  • Optimising timing and resource use by identifying opportunities to align with maintenance activities
  • Organizing, implementing and maintaining a scheduling management system supporting identified projects and their plans
  • Driving self-service for individual project scheduling  
  • Providing schedule reports for contract coordination, escalation and progress

Qualifications

Do you have?

  • Project and portfolio scheduling experience
  • Ability to juggle and prioritise a large workload
  • High level of IT competency, especially MS Office 
  • Superior communication skills
  • A focus on results
  • A willingness to learn, develop and share knowledge
