Rockgas and Firstgas Limited supply more than 150,000 homes and businesses throughout New Zealand with gas for hot water, space heating and cooking. Rockgas supplies LPG via cylinders, bulk tanks and reticulation networks, while Firstgas owns pipeline infrastructure in the North Island that transports natural gas.

What you will do:

The Direct and Digital Marketing Specialist is based in Auckland in our Commercial and Regulatory team.  Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will support our growth by successfully delivering and managing our digital footprint and ecosystems as well as developing direct marketing campaigns and activities that drive engagement and performance in the digital space.  

The key responsibilities in the role include designing and overseeing all aspects of our digital marketing systems and activities; managing the digital platforms and channels to continuously improve the performance of websites, platforms and applications; managing all contests, giveaways, and other digital projects and analysing and evaluating the effectiveness of our digital marketing strategy and activity using a range of tools and sites.

What you will bring:

Our ideal candidate will have:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, digital media/design or equivalent
• Proven experience in digital marketing, managing direct marketing campaigns and a strong understanding of brand management
• High level of understanding of analytics and metrics across digital platforms
• Computer literacy with a strong understanding of database management, software packages, email platforms and digital campaign execution
• Outstanding written communication skills including generating quality content for websites, social media and email campaigns
• Ability to influence and work collaboratively with internal and external parties.
