Job Summary:

This position is designed to lead the Funding department. This includes managing the employees, daily funding operations, ensuring there is adequate staff with necessary tools, and department training needs. Communication with interdepartmental employees is key in this position for a smooth flow from processing and post-closing to disbursement. The ideal candidate is in tune with potential problems with staff and/or clients to provide a suitable solution. They should maintain and support the company’s policies and procedures.

Job Description:

• Establishes new escrow accounts and process escrow documents in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Completes escrow transactions by determining requirements; assembling, preparing, and reviewing the closing documents, and disbursing funds.
• Closes escrow accounts by balancing and disbursing funds.
• Performs audits to confirm that the funding process is running in compliance.
• Pulls reports for review.
• Maintains job knowledge by participating in continuing education and participating in professional organizations.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Supervises and oversees staff to ensure accuracy and compliance

• 2 to 4 years of related experience and 2+ years’ experience handing escrow transactions.
• BS or BA in related field (Finance, Mathematics, Business) is a plus.
• Must be a Licensed Title Agent.
• Meets continuing education requirements.
• Title Express is a plus.
• Common knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
