Overall objectives

•To lead and enable the effective execution of the enterprise-wide data governance strategy by driving adoption of data governance standards, facilitating business engagement, and ensuring alignment with regulatory and organizational requirements. •The Principal Lead, Data Governance Enablement, will play a critical role in driving the adoption, embedding, and operationalization of the bank’s enterprise-wide Data Governance Framework. Role specific responsibilities

•Proactively mitigate data risks across the First Line of Defense by integrating automated risk assessments, control monitoring (via RCSA), and regulatory audit preparedness into data governance operations—aligning with predictive risk intelligence and real-time compliance models. Maintaining High level of Data quality score mandated by UAECB and AECB

•Support the Head of Data Governance  to Advance the organization’s data governance literacy and digital fluency through tailored upskilling programs, business-aligned training, and AI-enabled knowledge assistants that support data-driven decision-making at all levels.
