Job Description
Job Purpose:
The candidate will be based in UAE and will focus on managing and developing client relationships across Europe and Americas. Preference for candidates with existing client list with an ability to leverage these relationships to drive revenue and deepen engagement across multiple asset classes. A background in credit, investment banking or relationship management is a strong advantage.
Relationship Development:
- The incumbent will be a strong team player with the ability to deliver agreed sales and revenue targets across Global Markets. In addition, along with identifying and cultivating cross sell opportunities within the targeted sectors and geographies, the candidate will have good experience in-depth conversations with Credit/Risk/Legal/Compliance Department for development & delivering on business. Navigating our internal credit and operational processes successfully will be a pre-requisite to building long term relationships with our European coverage teams and help the team achieve our annual revenue targets.
Distribution & Coverage Scope:
- The incumbent will be focused on origination, distribution, legal, credit and operational aspects of cross-asset Global Markets solutions across the targeted client base and geography. A strong expectation to understand the client requirements to work with our coverage teams and internal stakeholder to provide a high-quality distribution service to the targeted clients.
Responsibilities / Coverage:
- Manage and expand relationships with a ready client list across multiple asset classes Develop & deepen client relationships through regular engagement, thought leadership and solution driven approach, aimed at building long-term partnerships with key accounts.
- Manage in-depth conversations with Credit/Risk/Legal/Compliance Department for development & delivering on business.
- Ensure adherence to all GM Sales requirements across the client which are in-line with FAB’s regulatory, compliance and best practice standards.
- Ensure high quality execution, onboarding and account maintenance and build/maintain strong relationship with GM product, Coverage teams and the enablement functions.
- Strong team player, working closely with members of the GM Sales Team and supporting as required.
- Ensure client / internal / monetary impacting issues are escalated appropriately to line manager within suitable timeframe.
- Expectation to participate in client events / forums / off-site events as required.
- Ensure maximum optimization of customer flow activity, and cross selling opportunities to produce best in class flow to grow the GM franchise.
- Coverage & Segment Coverage: Multinational Corporates & Commercial Clients
- Product Knowledge: Incumbent is expected to provide multi asset class coverage. These include, but are not limited to, FX (including options), Money market, Credit (Repo, bonds) Interest rate derivatives and Commodity derivatives. Incumbent is expected to provide expertise from a background in credit, coverage or relationship management to the GM Sales role.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce or relevant disciplines.
Minimum Experience & Attributes:
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Language skills: French or Arabic would be an added advantage
- Ready pool of client relationships – large and mid-sized corporates & institutional clients across Europe and Americas or from an Energy or Natural Resources or Commodity Trading background
- Knowledge of Credit Analysis, Global Market products, including risk valuations, XVA pricing and return on capital/RWA
- Direct Customer support / Client Service experience.
- Strong and effective communications and analytical skills.
- Strong knowledge in using range of MIS & performance metrics to drive client portfolio growth.
- Experience of working in a high volume and high-pressure environment.
- Experience of interaction with other regional and global teams.
- Strong team player, with ability to accommodate a range of views and drive team performance.
- Confident at communication to all levels of internal and external clients, business partners and technology.
- Accurate, thorough, and highly responsible with a good attention to detail.
- Takes accountability for own actions and seeks guidance from management when appropriate.
