Job Purpose
I&G Reporting specialist is primarily tasked with for all reporting related responsibilities of Central PMO. This individual should take charge of underlying data residing in identified portfolio management tool (e.g. Clarity Broadcom) and create reports which will cater to multiple CPMO portfolio governance ceremonies (project and portfolio level) including consolidated enterprise-wide progress updates, risk logs and dependency charts.
This individual will create and maintain executive level dashboards, support in the creation of updates to senior leadership and ensure visibility across portoflio’s
This individual’s primary job purpose is to ensure all data related to portfolio governance is accurate, validated and become the single source of truth. He / she should ensure best-in-class reporting related tools and practices are implemented across Central PMO and adopted by related project and delivery teams.
Key Accountabilities
Leads creating crucial progress updated reports across Bank Fab projects portfolio
- Identifies sources of data and various cuts of data required to support the identified governance ceremonies and stakeholders’ requests
- Works with portfolio tool owners to create the reports and circulate to identified stakeholders
- Helps educate teams on adopting the prescribed reports and financial metrics (Budget, Benefits, Timelines), non-financial metrics (Enterprise Architecture, ESG, and Customer Experience), and compliance (regulatory and audit), among other metrics
- Supports in reviewing the portfolio demand and proactively shares feedback with the teams for refinement
Leads data governance and data quality of portfolio data
- Ensures data reported across committees and identified governance forums is accurate and takes charge to clean-up & rectify data points as needed
- Engages Portfolio Heads to ensure project reporting is accurate, standardized and any gaps are remediated
- Sets up reporting structures to validate the financial and value metrics. Works closely with Value & Reporting team to ensure cost and benefit data is captured & tracked at a macro level across Portfolios
Leads the creation and collation of tracking of process, risks and budget data
- Works with Head of Value & Reporting, Portfolio Heads and Head of CPMO to identify and create various cuts of data, project KPIs, sources & owners of data and format in which it is required
- Creates the reports and data cuts per requirements of CPMO and senior FAB stakeholders
- Refreshes data and keeps ready for senior stakeholder requirements
Supports in tracking and reporting bank-Fab wide reporting data
- Collects data to create report on Portfolio KPIs, value, risks and financial KPIs across portfolio projects
- Is adept in data visualization and creates templates to visualize the data cuts required per the needs stated by Head of CPMO
- Ensures continuous improvements in data collation and visualization processes
Supports in monitoring portfolio process, risks, budget and spend
- Support in the tracking of any identified project and portfolio risks and issues
- Ensure the right reporting of the identified risks and issues
- Support in the escalation of the highlighted risks and issues, if needed
- Collaborates with other units within CPMO to ensure they are tracking budgets, spend, benefits and key outcomes are reported in the master tracker for consumption by Head of CPMO
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
- Mandatory: University Degree in Finance or equivalent
- Experience: at least 2-3 years’ experience working in BFSI organizations. (UAE Banking experience preferred) including at least 2 years in setting up a reporting and dashboards
- Should have experience in reporting project financials and creating KPIs and dashboards at an enterprise level
- Should be adept in related project reporting processes and tooling (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Visio, ThinkCell)
- Experience working in a matrix organization to gather and report data across multiple teams and shared ownership of data sources
Skills
- Experience in advanced excel inc macros, project reporting including KPI creation, finance management and budgets, banking sector is a plus
- Experience of working with cross functional team and a matrix organization
- Good stakeholder management capability
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Proficient in Project Mgmt tooling (e.g. Clarity PPM, Power BI, MS Sharepoint)
- Microsoft Office Applications; PowerPoint, Excel, etc
- Experience with data handling and analysis tools such as Power BI & Tableau
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and deliver within tight deadlines
- Willing to learn, collaborate, go the extra mile, and demonstrate high level of integrity with ability to handle highly confidential information appropriately
