Job Description

Responsible for managing a team and driving the trading strategy for Foreign Exchange (FX) and Interest Rates. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic leadership, and client engagement

  1. Monitoring current investments,Controling capital calls/distributions
  2. Manage relationship with internal stakeholders,Support on screening of new investment ideas
  3. Strenghten understanding of investments and portfolio management
  4. Support members of the team on investment memos to the investment committee
  5. Generate periodic reports on portfolio performance/ return attribution analysis/ benchmarking
  6. Operating Principles
    1. Remain available to collaborate and provide support and training to all the key stakeholders / partners including Risk, Compliance, Finance, Credit etc (but not limited to)
  7. Product knowledge and expertise and Mandate Expansion (Qualitative)
    1. Ensure that all the aspects of the function are well understood by the year end and be able to independently operate and accurately process all day-to-day business activities. Participate and provide qualified input in idea generation and its execution.
    1. Independently run operational process Business activities with almost 100% accuracy and limited errors both manually and through the eFront System. 
    2. Actively support on managing investment memos.

    2. It is critical for all to adhere and abide to the defined corporate discipline in terms of timing and code of conduct in terms of understanding and following Corporate Affairs and accepting corporate hierarchy and structure.

Qualifications

  1. University graduate
  2. Basic understanding of finance and capital markets
  3. Solid quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and strong excel modelling skills.
  4. 3 to 5 years of related experience in equity research
  5. Attention to details, Motivation to learn and Teamwork
