Job Description

The Director of Mass/Affluent Relationship within Global Private Banking is responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to acquire, retain, and enhance relationships with mass and affluent clients globally. This role entails providing high-touch financial advice, sophisticated wealth management solutions, and unparalleled client service to meet the distinct needs of high-net-worth individuals.

   - Develop and nurture strong relationships with mass and affluent clients on a global scale.

   - Gain a deep understanding of clients' financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.

   - Deliver bespoke financial advice and solutions to align with clients' needs and objectives.

   - Identify and pursue opportunities to attract new mass and affluent clients globally.

     - Represent the firm at international networking events and industry conferences to grow the client base.

   - Conduct detailed financial assessments for clients, including retirement planning, tax planning, estate planning, and investment management.

   - Offer ongoing portfolio management and sophisticated investment advice.

   - Keep clients updated on global market trends, investment opportunities, and financial planning strategies.

   - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of relationship managers and financial advisors across different regions.

   - Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and foster a high-performance culture.

   - Encourage collaboration and a client-focused approach within the team.

   - Ensure all client interactions and financial recommendations adhere to international regulatory requirements and company policies.

   - Monitor and manage risk within client portfolios.

   - Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in compliance with global standards.

Qualifications

JOB KNOWLEDGE

  • Extensive knowledge of financial planning, investment management, and wealth management strategies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Multilingual skills and experience working in diverse cultural environments are a plus.

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong relationship management & new /ongoing business development skills
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in wealth management, financial advisory, or a related field, with a focus on mass and affluent clients in a global context.
  • Experienced problem solver in tandem with decision making
