Job Purpose

The core responsibilities of KYC Coordinator is to perform duties as required by the departmental SOPs covering KYC process for Corporate and Investment Banking clients. The candidate will assist the KYC teams across CIB segments in day to day activities including projects in pipeline as and when required and any additional tasks performed by the BAU team.

Key Accountabilities

The coordinator will act as a support to Team Leader (AVP) for all local KYC requirements as detailed below.

• Sharing of documentation with overseas branches for FI (Banks)
• Screening of entities for Loan Agency requests
• Ad hoc requests from GM Compliance to perform name screening.
• Preliminary screening requested by Coverage prior to Onboarding of a client.
• Validating the KYC details in the core systems and rectifying any gaps
• Perform Google screening for all NTB cases
• Assist the TL/VP in ad hoc projects

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in management, banking, finance.
• Preferably with certification in compliance, KYC/AML/CFT, financial crime or risk management ( will be added advantage)

Minimum Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a reputable international bank
• Minimum of 3 years of experience within an On-boarding, KYC or Compliance function.
• Experienced with operating in a global regulatory environment.
• Strong Microsoft application knowledge
