Job Description

Job Purpose:

  • Execute India Corporate Banking Strategy (Companies with revenues between USD 250 M and USD 1 B)
  • Onboard and manage relationship with strong new to bank customers in this space.
  • Strictly follow the Target Market Risk Acceptance Criteria for this segment.
  • Work with Product Partners to achieve revenue targets for the Franchise in India and meeting returns thresholds as may be set.
  • Ensure adherence to credit quality and credit standards of the bank and post disbursal monitoring and control.
  • Maintain an acceptable risk/reward balance and ensure ethical, compliant practices and to adhere to sales and service culture in the industry.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Meeting Revenue and Returns targets as may be set for self and team.
  • Interact with Senior Client Management to structure solutions for complex needs. Maintain and develop relationships with key decision makers in client portfolio.
  • Preparing, maintaining & implementing a list of prospective accounts to be systematically targeted, onboarded along with cross sell.
  • Interacting internally to ensure implementation and execution of client transactions.
  • Maintain up-to-date credit, mandate and industry sector files. Maintain credit quality of the entire portfolio and apprise credit / risk/ senior management about any detioration of credit parameters of any client portfolio.
  • Review the FACT applications for new Business and renewal.
  • Appraise, analyze, scrutinize and comment on all information received from client including but not limited to financial statements, management accounts, feasibility reports market research report, valuation report, business report, financial/legal/technical due diligence report etc.
  • Negotiate and close financing documents in coordination with internal and external lawyers and operational desk.
  • Preparation of budget and other reports for senior management.
  • Attend internal/external client meetings, conference calls and preparing associated meeting/call reports.
  • Fully understand the Bank’s Wholesale Banking products and associated processes.
  • Adhere to process KPIs and ISO9001 requirements, ORM, BCP & Internal Audit Requirements.
  • Responsible for meeting all KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements as per RBI regulations as well as FAB internal guidelines for all clients managed.
  • Ensure Housekeeping in terms of pipeline management, overdue credit applications, no overdue deferrals etc.

Qualifications

  • Finance / Business related Master’s degree or professional qualification in accounting.
  • Approx 13 -15 years of experience in Covering similar market segment
