Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

The role holder is responsible for prescreening of Business Banking Application – POS, MBBF & CRE. Maintaining track MIS of cases received and coordinating with listed evaluation companies for running valuations on request from the business (specific for CRE & MBBF only)

  • Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year.
  • Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the reporting manager to ensure that the required trainings are arranged and attended.
  • Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all the competencies and skills required to perform the role.
  • Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth.

Job Context

Core Responsibilities

  • Runs Pre-Screening process in line with laid down policies and procedure for all three segments (CRE, MBBF & POS)
  • Runs valuation process in line with procedure and with business request
  • Evaluates Clients Credit Data, information, and credit bureau  in order to determine the degree of risk associated with the account and facilitate the decision-making process based on credit worthiness.
  • Ensure that the credit documentation is complete for the purpose of facilitating the application process and ensures approvals on the same are obtained from delegated authority.
  • Manages the exception level efficiently and within the specified standards and timelines.Perform first level prescreening checks for Business banking products (POS/MBBF)which includes various system dedupes and third party checks
  • Ensure a high level of accuracy in pre screening work to ensure borrower details and history is accurately captured for next level of credit analysis

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline.

Minimum Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the banking sector with at least 1 years in similar position.
