Job Description

Role Overview:

The role of a Wealth Specialist is an important part of the overall Wealth & Bancassurance proposition within Business Banking. The role holder is responsible to engage with the Sales & Coverage teams to ensure deeper penetration of Wealth & Bancassurance products within the Business Banking customer base, by interacting with customers and generating new business opportunities for the bank.

The customer’s needs must be maintained as the basis for all proposed solutions and the ideal candidate must have a proven track record in the Wealth Management industry in terms of customer profiling, lead generation and fulfilment.

Key Performance Metrics:

This role is responsible to achieve the budgeted financials, while ensuring that all regulatory, compliance and legal requirements are met. The following is a breakdown of these responsibilities:

Revenue:

  • Achieve the set monthly budgets from new sales, by engaging customers and liaising with the assigned Sales & Coverage teams
  • Ensure 100% activation of all assigned team members from the Sales & Coverage teams
  • Maintain high quality sales with minimal leakage due to clawbacks or cancellations
  • Consistent delivery of the budgeted financials on quarterly basis

Process:

  • Adhere to all the sales guidelines set by the bank
  • Participate and fulfill all regulatory requirements on training, certification and assessments as mandated from time to time

People:

  • Engage with the referral team members within the assigned Sales & Coverage teams regularly to build a sales pipeline
  • Organize, liaise and execute regular product trainings for all assigned team members to build product awareness
  • Participate in portfolio reviews to identify business opportunities

Customer:

  • Build an accurate customer profile using need analysis and in-depth fact-find, for every customer interaction to discuss relevant opportunities
  • Engage with existing customers on an ongoing basis – providing relevant product/portfolio updates and end-to-end fulfilment of all customer queries related to the proposition

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would be an experienced Wealth Management professional in the UAE who fulfils the below requirements:
1.    Experience in Wealth Management for SME customers in the UAE for 5 years
2.    A means of personal transportation
3.    CII – Level 3 & CISI – AWB certifications (CFA would be an advantage)
4.    Excellent multi-lingual communication skills (Arabic fluency is an added advantage; English is a minimum requirement)
