Job Description

To support the various CEO office functions in the planning, execution, monitoring and reporting of their respective activities through conducting financial analysis.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Generic Accountability

  • Perform financial analysis and market research analysis to support decision making.

Job Specific Accountabilities

  • Support in developing financial analysis tools to evaluate incubated projects.

Specific Accountability

  • Consolidate and analyze financial data to support the CEO Office in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports by using sensitivity analysis of estimating cost and revenue
  • Analyse management committees and Board presentations (ALCO, Risk, ExCO) and provide relevant insights.
  • Prepare summary briefing/research notes on any relevant topics including Basel III regulations, AI applications, interest rate risk, peer analysis etc in both Word and PowerPoint formats for senior management.
  • Track and report financial performance compared to forecasts based on the trends and provide recommendations to improve financial performance
  • Provide timely, relevant, and accurate reporting & analysis of the results of the business functions’ performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results to support facilitating decision-making
  • Provide financial support and analysis for strategic business decisions and cost saving initiatives
  • Support in developing financial analysis tools to evaluate incubated projects including feasibility analysis, budgeting, variance, and ROI reporting
  • Develop financial presentations on data findings of financial reports, cost analysis, and revenue, as and when required
  • Support in gathering and evaluating market data to perform market analysis, reviewing portfolio data as part of the project due diligence process, creating presentation to pitch for new business pursuits
  • Support in researching business opportunities (acquisitions, conversions, and development) and determining good investments through market absorption studies, rate analysis studies, and financial modelling
  • Work closely with the relevant departments to provide financial forecasts, projections, and analysis on prospective investment opportunities
  • Generate models and ad hoc financial analysis reports, charts, tables, and other exhibits as requested to assist the CEO office VPs, as and when required
  • Maintain CEO office financial related databases and perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline.

Minimum Experience

  • 5 - 7 years of relevant experience as a financial analyst or consultant preferably in the banking sector and financial institutions.
