Job Purpose

Offboarding Specialist is responsible for exit management processes including, case management, off boarding queries, final settlement process, visa and permit cancellation and de-registration of benefits in collaboration with LM’s, HRBPs and different stakeholders. This role also involves supporting process reengineering activities and system enhancements. 

Key Accountabilities

Offboarding Job Accountability

  • Manage Offboarding processes and interact with employees/stakeholders and act as point of contact to ensure all processes are performed consistently following defined KPIs/SLAs. Responsible to respond to all business, HRBP and leaving employees queries within 2 working days

 

  • Interact with the HRBPs to ensure all exits are approved within the HR DoA and ensure all type of exit packs/letters are prepared on timely manner.

 

  • Coordinate with Payroll team to get the Full and Final Settlement calculation ready with incorporating all inputs and clearances received from business stakeholders, which includes bank liabilities, and other variable deductions/payments. Obtain ex-employee acceptance on the final settlement and share with Payroll Team for payment credit.

 

  • Co-ordinate with 3rd party vendor and payroll team to complete exit formalities of 3rd parties.

 

  • Liaise with Ask HR team and stakeholders to resolve Offboarding related queries and to provide administrative support and perform any other additional tasks assigned by SVP, Head of HR Operations or AVP, Manager HR Offboarding.

 

  • Support FAB staff banking related process applicable to leaving employees. Work closely and on timely manner with Staff Lending Unit, Ops Team and Credit Card team to complete credit card blocking/limit reduction, liabilities settlement, liabilities conversion and staff flag removal.

 

  • Responsible to ensure timely completion of the visa cancellation all expatriates, medical insurance cancellation and Pension de-registration of UAE and GCC Nationals. Coordinate with PRD and Employee Services Team to complete the processes within agreed SLA.

 

  • Partner with the Legal Department and provide documentation to support legal cases. Review final judgment received and initiate final action.

 

  • Ensure FAB regulations, compliance and internal control standards are strictly followed to effectively manage operational risks associated with the role.

 

  • To manage the Off-boarding unit in absence of VP, HR Off-boarding.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline.

Minimum Experience

  • 5 years’ relevant experience in HR Operations with at least 3 years in similar positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities in the Human Resources function.
